Directions

How to Use:

Inject Mounjaro under the skin once a week, on the same day each week.
Use the stomach, thigh or upper arm, and change the site each time.
You can use it with or without food.
Follow the dose schedule your prescriber gives you, as the dose is increased slowly over time.
If you miss a dose, take it within 4 days if you can. If more than 4 days have passed, skip it and take your next dose on the usual day.

Warnings

Do not use Mounjaro if you:

Are allergic to tirzepatide or any of the other ingredients.
Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2.
Are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Cautions:

Tell your prescriber if you have a history of pancreatitis or gallbladder problems.
Mounjaro may reduce how well the contraceptive pill works, so use an extra barrier method when starting and after each dose increase.
Because it slows stomach emptying, it can affect how other medicines are absorbed. Tell your prescriber about all medicines you take, including insulin and sulfonylureas.
